- Cocktail Party Effect - Classic Case of Selective Attention (2 min)
- Cocktail Party Effect demonstrated: Dichotic Listening/Whispering activity - Get into groups of three. One student is the listener and the other two are stand beside them. The listener’s only job is to listen with their right ear as both students whisper in their ear about their day. If they only listen with the right ear they should not be able to process info from the left. Then have them try it again but the person on the left inserts their name multiple times into the story
